Sarkozy leaves hospital without heart problemsFrench President Nicolas Sarkozy left a military hospital Monday after overnight tests found no sign of heart problems, the Elysee Palace said Monday.Sarkozy, who collapsed while jogging Sunday, walked out of the Val de Grace hospital hand in hand with his wife, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. He shook hands with hospital staff and waved to journalists, local media reported. The Elysee Palace confirmed in a statement that doctors had found no cardiac problems and had diagnosed that Sarkozy's dizzy spell was caused by fatigue. It said the president never lost consciousness. Sarkozy, 54, collapsed Sunday while jogging near the Versailles Palace outside Paris. He was immediately taken to the Val de Grace military hospital by helicopter. Doctors have recommended that Sarkozy rest for a period of time. "No medical treatment has been prescribed. He was advised to take a rest for a few days," the statement said. According to the statement, the president has postponed a planned trip Tuesday to the Mont Saint Michel abbey in western France but will still chair a cabinet meeting Wednesday as scheduled. Sarkozy was due to begin a summer holiday at the end of the week on the Mediterranean where Bruni-Sarkozy's family owned a villa.VietNamNet/Xinhuanet
